An article in the National Public Radio (NPR) website about ‘The Vow, Part 2’ sent a tremor throughout the whole NXIVM scene, both on the side of the whistleblowers/escapees and also between the ones still advocating for the multilevel-marketing-scam-turned-sex-cult.

The reviewer, Linda Holmes, opens up with quite the salvo: ‘Cult leaders know it, pyramid scheme operators know it, and you undoubtedly know it, too: Nothing complicates a narrative like half a million dollars in cash.‘

Nancy Saltzman is a sterling example of why attorneys advise clients not to give interviews. She both pretends to not know anything about Keith's sexual exploits but in the next breath she talks about having to manage all the women who are having relationships with him. It would have been great to get Ivy to issue a rebuttal to Nancy. Frank you should repost the letter Ivy wrote about Nancy for her sentencing. Nancy was culpable in all of the weird stuff controlling various women. Weighing Ivy everyday ? In her underwear? Nancy even admits that she knows that Keith promised a baby to a wide range of women. How could she possibly feign shock that he was having sex with all of those women? How else does Nancy think a baby is made? And how could Nancy be surprised that Lauren was also promised a baby if she knew that was part of Keith's mo? If you knew a man acted like that toward women how could you ever feel comfortable with your daughter hanging all over him and being so close to the guy? Likewise if you knew Keith was such a prolific predator of women why would you let the community believe that he was a renunciate? And how could you ever ever let young girls be around him hanging all over keith? Nancy is far more culpable than she is trying to portray herself. Very disappointed to find out that Karen was involved in the manipulation of Daniella. And that she knew Daniella was being kept in the room. Karen must have made a hell of a sweet deal to get out of charges for her behavior and crimes. Karen may see yourself as a victim but you really does not seem like a very good person. And Pam is just nauseatingly repulsive.

MK10ART is the most wildly inconsistent artist ever. Some paintings look like spot-on portraits, others look like a painting by an 8 year old with zero resemblance to the subject. Something seems fishy about it. Like compare that to Marie White’s work. Hers is always consistent – you can tell her work all comes from one person.

Frank, Do you have any idea what that kooky vest Pam Cafrirz was wearing in episode 5 of The Vow 2 is about? At first it seemed like maybe it was part of the filming equipment like a tech vest of some sort? Then it looked like maybe a fishing vest. And later saw a comment where someone mentioned it was a weighted vest? Was this a weighted vest? And is it part of what Keith told Pam to do so that she could become an Olympic runner in like her 30s? Or is it a homemade weight loss device Keith invented? Think Pam in her vest would be a great art piece inspiration for one of these incredible artists you feature on your blog.
