NXIVM financier Clare Bronfman, 44, now serving an 81-month sentence at FDC Philadelphia, has requested that Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis reduce her sentence to 63 months based on last year’s federal reduction in sentencing guidelines for first-time offenders.

If the judge does not agree to apply the new sentencing guidelines reduction, Bronfman will be due for release from custody on June 29, 2025 or in 16 months. If he agrees with the Probation Department and reduces her sentence by 18 months, Bronfman could be released on probation as early as April.

Below is the letter her chaplain wrote on her behalf.
