Yesterday, Christopher Ambrose surrounded a Rockland County home with police officers to force his three teenage children out of their safe haven.
He succeeded.
Mia, 16 years -10 months, Matthew, 16 years – nine months, and Sawyer, 13, lived with their mother’s cousin, John Laurenzi, for the last month.

Ambrose, with half a dozen police on hand, came to Laurenzi’s house with a restraining order signed by a judge in another county – barring John from being in contact with the teens.
Police had no order to return the teens to Ambrose.
The restraining order did not allege any wrongdoing by Laurenzi, a respected wrestling coach, martial arts instructor, and contractor, who had merely offered the teens a safe haven when they fled from their last refuge to escape from their father.
Police minced no words when they told Laurenzi that the teens had to left his home because of the restraining order.
Forced out of the cousin’s home, homeless, without money, surrounded by police, their father, and a CPS worker who scolded them, the teens left Laurenzi’s home and entered Ambrose’s car.
Reportedly, they returned to Connecticut with their father, who they claimed abused them.
Shortly before the teens had to leave their haven at their cousin’s home, Mia sent this video to many parties.

It’s 519 right now. There’s like, so how many cops like 12? Around probably 12 or 15 cops outside, a bunch of cop cars. CPS is here. Me, my two brothers are here. We’re hiding because we’re not, we cannot go back with our abuser.
They are forcing us to go back with our abuser. And the abuser in question also said [to police] ‘we have to go in there to get them.’
Like you’re crazy. We’re not going back willingly, and they have a court order to remove us and we’ve said time and time again, ‘we are not going back.’
And this is me saying we are not going back.

So basically, they got an order to have us go back with Chris. But we were gonna go to the courthouse first. But after that, they didn’t say whether or not we’re going back with Chris, if we go to the courthouse, and there was like, 12 cops here, and they were banging on the door trying to get us to come out.
Mia Ambrose
And I’m not going to be forced to go that I don’t want to go back and I’m not going back to somebody who abused me. So what do you have to say?
Sawyer Ambrose
I’m not going back. He molested me. He touched my penis. I’m not going back to him.

In the end, Ambrose won. The teens had come to Laurenzi’s home after Ambrose came with police to their last safe haven. He forced them out of Laurenzi’s safe home.
They did go back with Ambrose.

This is the second time Ambrose used police to intimidate the owner of the homes where the teens fled for safety.
A month earlier, Ambrose came with Mount Pleasant Police and CPS workers who threatened to remove the teens from their safe haven with a family friend, and place them in Pleasantville Cottage School, a juvenile detention home, where they would be “beaten and raped daily.”

The teens fled to Laurenzi’s home, a refuge that ended tonight for them.
This is not the first time Ambrose used the restraining order tactic to force his children out of the home they preferred to his home.
He forced the teens from their mother’s home in August, when he persuaded CT Judge Thomas J. O’Neill to issue a restraining order against the mother, barring her from contacting her children.
Judge Thomas O’Neill sent three teens on a journey that ended with them back at their father’s home. But for how long?
Ambrose persuaded Judge O’Neill that the mother, not he, was coercing the children. His proof was that the children wanted to live with their mother, and that suggested she was brainwashing them.
He then asked the judge to coerce them out of their mother’s home and back to him. The judge issued the restraining order that made the teens homeless.
